I work closely with my clients to co-create personalised health and wellness plans, focusing on areas such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, and overall well-being. 

As your health coach I act as a strategic partner, helping you to identify and overcome obstacles that may be preventing you from reaching your health goals, while also providing education, empowerment, and accountability. 

I think of myself not necessarily as an advisor but as a facilitator of personal and professional growth. Working with you I create a safe and supportive environment in which you can explore and enhance your wellbeing.

I see myself as a holistic health coach, having been trained by the Primal Health Coach Institute, and also holding multiple credentials within the health and wellness field.

help you with?

As your health coach I’m here to equip you with the tools you need to be able to best help yourself in achieving your health and wellness goals. As a graduate of the Primal Health Coach Institute my focus is on helping you understand your human biochemistry and metabolism as well as helping you cultivate supportive habits so that your body gets the inputs it needs in order for you to reap the benefits of all day energy, consistent clarity and your ideal body weight. From here you're all set to achieve what you want in your home life, work life and life of adventure.

Diet

The education I provide helps you fully grasp what we’ve evolved to eat, emphasising whole, nutrient-dense foods and reducing processed, inflammatory foods. Together we’ll co-create a dietary pattern that fits your lifestyle and health goals.

Fitness

I’ll guide you in creating a movement-rich lifestyle alongside effective fitness regimens that mirror the movement patterns of our ancestors and that our DNA has come to expect. This includes activities like walking, running, lifting, carrying, jumping and playing, which can help build strength, enhance flexibility, and improve cardiovascular health.

Lifestyle

I’m a big believer in building a body that is an instrument rather than an ornament, though clients often end up with bodies that look great too! With my input, you’ll have confidence in making lifestyle changes that support overall wellbeing, such as improving sleep, reducing stress, and fostering positive relationships as well as knowing how much sun to get and what supplements are a good shout to cover over the deficits in the modern food supply chain.

How will the health coaching be delivered?

Health coaching can be delivered in a number of ways. I offer 1-on-1 coaching, group coaching as well as seminars and workshops in schools and workplaces. I love working with people in person but also host many of my sessions on Zoom.

Our coaching sessions will focus on you implementing the ancestral education you’ve gained in your daily lessons. I’m 100% in it with you navigating the process of habit change, fostering a can-do attitude and working around any roadblocks you can foresee or encounter along the way.

Weekly Goals

We’ll establish weekly goals that work toward your life goals as well as run personal experiments to see how your unique biochemistry and mind respond to the new inputs you’re providing. I’m also here to provide another layer of accountability and support. You’ll check in with me each day via the app and I’m just a message away so that you’ve got the granular support and personalised care that you need to succeed.

Here are some questions that I get asked

What can I talk to a health coach about?

Many of my clients wish to talk about changing habits around nutrition, movement and exercise, sleep, relationships, stress management, work-life balance. Often our conversations will develop from these topics into more personal areas such as the stories clients tell themselves, the language they use, how they handle setbacks and curveballs and even how certain behaviours are linked to specific stressors or childhood patterns. Essentially, you can talk to me as your health coach about anything that is important to you, your values, goals and aspirations in health and life. Health coaches are experts in holding space, hearing you well and helping you discover your true strength and ability to determine your own life outcomes.

Who can benefit from health coaching?

Nearly everyone would benefit from health coaching; many health coaches have their own health coaches because they see the benefits, first-hand, every day.

That said there are some specific groups of people who especially benefit from health coaching:

Busy people who need bespoke lifestyle adjustment without having to stick to a diet plan and workout regimen that does not fit into their timeframe. 

Parents who want to be able to set up a healthy home so that they thrive and their kids thrive but just don’t know where to start. 

Those who are overwhelmed by the amount of, seemingly contradictory, information out there and are needing someone to cut through the noise and provide workable principles that honour basic human biochemistry but truly meet them where they are at. 

People struggling with energy dips. This is ultimately a metabolism issue and a sluggish metabolism needs a holistic approach to get it firing on all cylinders again. Everything we do in our daily lives has an impact. A health coach can empower with sound education and provide the tools for deep habit change.

People struggling with brain fog. Brain fog is a brain metabolism issue - again this needs habit and lifestyle changes for a true metabolic reboot. 

Those who’ve gained weight and are struggling to lose it. Our body composition is a reflection of, you guessed it, our metabolism. When our metabolism is working as it was designed to, then our body weight and composition hovers within a healthy range (which is not the same for everyone) and we tend to feel pretty good when we’re in that range! If you’re struggling to find that sweet spot, a health coach is a valuable ally in helping you put the desired changes into place and making them stick.

Self employed people & business owners. If you have energy dips and brain fog - guess what? Your business has energy dips and brain fog. A health coach can help you shift to all day energy and consistent clarity and can often even help with some business coaching too! If you manage a team, you probably don’t want them half awake and forgetful - but ready to give their all. Having a health coach working with your staff is an obvious win. 

Those who care about longevity and health span. If you’re wanting to live long and live well, then getting the holistic health puzzle pieces in place sooner rather than later will serve you well. Research suggests that those who work with a health coach better set themselves up for avoiding chronic disease, therefore living well into the latter years and still being able to play with the grandkids, go on adventures and derive joy from each and every day.
